Malaysia: Shares open lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 9.03 points to 1,671.51.

Volume was 125.3 million lots worth RM26.8 million.

Losers outnumbered gainers 142 to 53.
