Malaysia: Shares open lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 8.86 points to 1,653.10.

Volume was 228.3 million lots worth RM98.6 million.

Losers outnumbered gainers 329 to 69.
