Malaysia: Shares open lower on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.36 points to 1,675.88 at 9am.

Volume was 103.19 million lots worth RM39.07 million.

Gainers beat losers 146 to 73.
