Malaysia: Shares open lower on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.14 points to 1,609.29 at 9am.

Volume was 60.78 million lots worth RM43.11 million.

Gainers beat losers 110 to 40.
