Malaysia: Shares open lower on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 3.19 points to 1,571.71 at 9am.

Volume was 76.29 million lots worth RM24.21 million.

Losers beat gainers 171 to 25.
