Malaysia: Shares open lower on Tuesday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 4.99 points, or 0.30 per cent, to 1,642.90 as at 9.04am.

    Volume was 108.44 million lots worth about RM38.65 million. Losers beat gainers 178 to 130.
