Malaysia: Shares open lower on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.740 points to 1,700.670.

Volume was 25.74 million lots worth RM13.42 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 73 to 57.
