Malaysia: Shares open lower on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.400 points to 1713.870.
Volume was 31.6 million lots worth RM17.2 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 83 to 49.
