Malaysia: Shares open lower on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.39 points to 1,683.94.
Volume was 53.77 million lots worth RM16.2 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 117 to 62.
