Malaysia: Shares open lower on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 8.51 points to 1,609.76 at 9am.

Volume was 104.14 million lots worth RM39.13 million.

Gainers beat losers 152 to 57.
