Malaysia: Shares open lower on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.78 points to 1,589.057 at 9.01am.
Volume was 77.2 million lots worth RM35.11 million. Gainers beat losers 118 to 75.
