Malaysia: Shares open lower on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.96 points, or 0.19 per cent, to 1,522.24 as at 9.04am.
Volume was 138.31 million lots worth about RM81.83 million. Gainers beat losers 186 to 85.
