Malaysia: Shares open lower on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.95 points to 1,741.95.
Volume was 20.29 million lots worth RM11.84 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 82 to 57.
