Malaysia: Shares open lower on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.23 points to 1,842.80 at 9am.

Volume was 41.57 million lots worth RM18.85 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 99 to 82.
