Malaysia: Shares open slightly higher on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices open slightly higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.73 points, or 0.09 per cent to 1846.92.
Volume was 88.7 million lots worth RM19.8 million.
The field was roughly evenly matched, with 90 gainers to 84 losers.
