Malaysia: Shares slide 1.5% on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed sharply lower on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 22.95 points to 1,482.64.
Volume was 5.1 billion lots worth RM4.7 billion.
Losers vastly outnumbered gainers 1,056 to 124.
