Malaysia: Shares up at Tuesday's open

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.32 points to 1,678.96 at 9.01am.

Volume was 71.09 million lots worth RM13.25 million.

Gainers beat losers 78 to 52.
