Malaysia: Stocks end 17 points higher

Malaysian shares closed higher on Wednesday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index gaining 17.72 points to 1,621.040.
Some 1.69 billion lots, valued at RM2.48 billion were traded. Gainers outnumbered losers 573 to 277.
