Malaysia: Stocks end the day higher

MALAYSIAN stocks closed higher on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.14 points at 1,655.47.
Volume was 2.3 billion lots worth RM1.79 billion.
Gainers outnumbered losers by 613 to 276.
