SINGAPORE stocks ended lower on Tuesday, with the Straits Times Index falling 11.66 points or 0.4 per cent to 3,034.31.
Gainers beat losers 185 to 179, after about 1.8 billion shares worth S$950.6 million changed hands.
The most actively traded counter was Allied Tech, which rose 10.5 per cent or 0.2 Singapore cent to 2.1 Singapore cents, with 78.4 million shares traded.
Other active stocks included Genting Singapore which lost 1.6 per cent to S$0.93, and DBS which fell almost 1 per cent to S$24.24.
