Singapore shares close 0.6% lower

SHARE prices in the Singapore bourse closed lower with the key Straits Times Index losing 21.7 points or to finish at 3,517.73 on Thursday.
Nearly two billion shares worth S$1.3 billion were done versus Wednesday's 1.9 billion shares worth S$1.2 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers with 220 counters down and 184 counters up.
