Singapore shares close flat on Thursday
SINGAPORE stocks ended flat on Thursday, with the Straits Times Index falling 1.43 points or 0.05 per cent to 3,069.67.
Losers outnumbered gainers 208 to 152, after about 1.98 billion shares worth S$927.5 million changed hands.
The most actively traded counters were China Real Estate Group, which rose 0.1 Singapore cent to 0.2 Singapore cent, with 88.9 million shares traded, and Genting Singapore which rose 0.5 Singapore cent to 95 Singapore cents, with 39.5 million shares traded.
Other active stocks included YZJ Shipbuilding, which gained 4.6 per cent to S$1.37, and UOB which lost 0.6 per cent to S$25.48.
