Singapore shares close lower on Wednesday, tracing Asian markets

Singapore share prices closed lower on Wednesday with the Straits Times Index down 12.24 points at 3,359.17, and tracing other Asian markets.
Top losers included Singapore Airlines and DBS Group.
Some 2.79 billion shares worth S$952 million changed hands, with losers outnumbering gainers 261 to 191.
