Singapore shares close trading down 28.65 points

SINGAPORE shares ended Wednesday's trading on a weak note, dragged by the banking stocks and other index heavyweights.
The benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) finished the session down 28.65 points or 0.89 per cent at 3,201.77.
Turnover was 2.2 billion units valued at S$1.1 billion. Excluding warrants, losers outnumbered gainers 275 to 153.
