Singapore: Shares end higher

SINGAPORE shares end higher on Thursday.

The Straits Times Index gained 1.43 points to 3,304.82.

Some 1.17 billion shares, valued at S$1.0 billion were traded. Gainers numbered 167 while losers numbered 230.
