Singapore shares end higher on Thursday
SHARE prices on the Singapore bourse closed higher on Thursday, with the key Straits Times Index up 7.12 points, or 0.23 per cent, to 3,131.77.
About 2.1 billion securities worth S$1.1 billion in total changed hands, which worked out to an average unit price of S$0.52 per share. Gainers and losers were evenly matched, with 206 securities up to 190 down.
The most actively traded stock was Rex International, which lost 0.2 Singapore cent, or 2.02 per cent, to end at S$0.097 after 116.4 million shares changed hands. Other actives included Ezion Holdings and Falcon Energy Group.
