Singapore shares end lower on Monday
SHARE prices on the Singapore bourse closed lower on Monday, with the key Straits Times Index down 13.47 points, or 0.4 per cent, to 3,120.92.
About 1.8 billion securities worth S$905.8 million in total changed hands, which worked out to an average unit price of S$0.50. Losers outnumbered gainers 281 to 135.
The most actively traded stock was Rex International, which gained 0.1 Singapore cent, or 1.2 per cent, to end at S$0.085 after 122.2 million shares changed hands. Other actives included Allied Technologies and Golden Agri-Resources.
