Singapore shares lower at Tuesday's break; STI down 0.5% at 3,400.81
SINGAPORE shares entered the noon break lower on Tuesday, with the Straits Times Index down 0.5 per cent or 18.32 points to 3,400.81.
About 1.49 billion shares worth S$714 million in total changed hands during the earlier session.
The most actively traded stock was Magnus Energy, which traded at an indicative price of 0.1 Singapore cent with 201.8 million shares changing hands.
Other actives included Sincap Group and Jiutian Chemical.
Losers outnumbered gainers 298 to 102.
