Singapore shares open 0.1 per cent down on Friday
SINGAPORE stocks opened 0.1 per cent lower on Friday, with the Straits Times Index dropping 1.91 points to 3,291.22 as at 9.02 am.
About 128.7 million shares worth S$91.1 million in total changed hands, which worked out to an average unit price of S$0.71 per share.
The most actively traded counter was Rowsley, which rose S$0.014 to S$0.178 with 30.1 million shares changing hands. Other actives included Swee Hong and Jiutian Chemica.
Gainers outnumbered losers 60 to 54, or about 10 up for every nine down.
