Singapore shares open 0.2% down on Monday
SINGAPORE stocks opened 0.2 per cent lower on Monday, with the Straits Times Index retreating 5.41 points to 3,163.97 as at 9.03am.
About 90.9 million shares worth S$128.1 million in total changed hands, which worked out to an average unit price of S$1.41 per share.
The most active counter was Kimly, which traded at S$0.555 with 16.9 million shares changing hands. The price was more than double its initial public offering price of S$0.25.
Other actives included Nam Cheong and Keppel Corp.
Gainers outnumbered losers 86 to 58, or about three up for every two down.
