Singapore shares open down 17.16 points on Tuesday on oil woes

SINGAPORE share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the Straits Times Index (STI) down 17.16 points to 2,883.76 as at 9am, with oil prices easing again overnight amid concerns of a supply glut. US markets ended lower.
Top losers in early morning trade included Keppel Corporation, and Jardine C&C.
Some 40.8 million shares worth S$69.1 million changed hands, with losers outnumbering gainers 86 to 50.
