Singapore shares open higher on Tuesday

THE Straits Times Index opened 1.16 per cent - or 34.41 points - higher on Tuesday, climbing to 3,008.82, after US and European markets closed higher on Monday.
By 9.04am, 92.3 million shares worth S$72.3 million had changed hands on the Singapore Exchange with gainers outnumbering losers 123 to 32.
Top traded stocks by value included DBS, Noble, Singtel, UOB and OCBC Bank.
