Singapore: Shares open higher on Wednesday

SINGAPORE share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the Straits Times Index up 16.36 points to 3,424.38.

Volume was 60.6 million shares worth S$90.3 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 116 to 34.
