Singapore: Shares open higher on Wednesday

SINGAPORE share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the Straits Times Index up 19.57 points to 3,435.48.
Volume was 53.4 million shares worth S$71.9 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 86 to 48.
