Singapore shares open lower on Monday

SINGAPORE stocks opened lower on Monday, with the Straits Times Index dropping 43.52 points or 1.31 per cent to 3,279.72.
About 68.6 million shares worth S$53.5 million in total changed hands as at 9am.
The most actively traded counter was mDR, which fell 16.7 per cent or S$0.001 to S$0.005 with 22.6 million shares changing hands as at 9.01am. Other actives included Charisma Energy and LionGold.
Gainers outnumbered losers 88 to 47.
