Singapore shares open lower on Wednesday

SINGAPORE share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the Straits Times Index down 2.15 points to 3,176.91.
Some 93.7 million shares worth S$36.5 million were traded as at 9am. Gainers outnumbered losers 94 to 38.
