Singapore shares open marginally lower on Friday
SINGAPORE stocks had a soft opening on Friday following Thursday's retreat, with the Straits Times Index slipping 0.12 per cent, or 3.82 points, to 3,217.84 as at 9.02am.
Gainers outnumbered losers 69 to 46, or three up for every two down, after 50.1 million shares worth S$57.2 million had changed hands.
Singapore Airlines fell 5.5 per cent, or 59 Singapore cents, to S$10.17 after reporting disappointing fourth-quarter results overnight.
Noble Group remained active, gaining 2.2 per cent, or 1.5 Singapore cents, to 69.5 Singapore cents.
