Singapore: STI opens 0.43% down on Monday
SINGAPORE share prices opened lower on Monday with the Straits Times Index down 14.28 points, or 0.43 per cent, to 3,339.57 at 9.07am.
This was on the back of talks in Brussels collapsing after just 45 minutes on Sunday. The latest failed attempt means Greece has two weeks until its euro-area bailout expires with no future financing arrangement in place.
Some 61.1 million shares worth S$57.7 million changed hands, with losers outnumbering gainers 92 to 57.
