SINGAPORE stocks gained for the third straight session on Monday, with the Straits Times Index (STI) adding 0.33 per cent or 10.81 points to close at 3,298.24
Gainers outnumbered losers 261 to 181, or about three up for every two down, after 2.3 billion shares worth S$1.3 billion changed hands.
Global Logistic Properties remained an active counter after a privatisation offer emerged before the weekend. It closed at S$3.31, below the offer price of S$3.38 per share but up 0.6 per cent or two Singapore cents on the day.
DBS Group Holdings rose 1.6 per cent or 34 Singapore cents to end at S$21.44, while OCBC Bank increased by 0.4 per cent or four Singapore cents to finish at S$11.09.
