Singapore stocks: STI resumes afternoon trading at 3,488.95, down 0.4% on the day
SINGAPORE stocks entered the afternoon trading session lower on Monday, with the Straits Times Index shedding 12.35 points, or 0.4 per cent to 3,488.95 as at 1pm.
Losers outnumbered gainers 238 to 93, after about 792.9 million shares worth S$452.2 million changed hands.
The most actively traded counters by volume were Rowsley which fell 17.4 per cent, or 2.1 Singapore cents to 10 Singapore cents with 72 million shares traded; and mDR which was up 33.3 per cent or 0.1 Singapore cent to 0.4 Singapore cent with 24 million shares traded.
Other active index stocks included Genting Singapore which fell 0.8 per cent to S$1.17, and Singtel which was down 0.3 per cent to S$3.36.
