Singapore stocks: STI resumes flat on Thursday afternoon at 3,567.29
SINGAPORE stocks resumed trading on Thursday afternoon in negative territory, with the Straits Times Index falling slightly by 0.72 point, flat on the day to 3,567.29 as at 1.03pm.
Losers outnumbered gainers 179 to 150.
About 1.38 billion shares worth S$746 million in total changed hands.
The most actively traded counter was Ezion, which fell S$0.012 to S$0.14 with 192.1 million shares changing hands. Other actives included Genting Singapore, up S$0.01 at S$1.18 apiece with 38.06 million shares traded, and Sembcorp Marine, down by S$0.15 to S$2.08 with 12.28 million shares changing hands.
Active index stocks included technology products and solutions provider Venture at S$21.09, down by S$1.48 or 6.56 per cent, and UOB at S$29.43, down by S$0.42 or 1.41 per cent.
