Singapore stocks: STI resumes flat on Tuesday afternoon at 3,578.65
SINGAPORE stocks resumed trading on Tuesday afternoon in negative territory, with the Straits Times Index falling slightly by 0.89 point, flat on the day to 3,578.65 as at 1.01pm.
Losers outnumbered gainers 208 to 124.
About 778.6 million shares worth S$609.4 million in total changed hands.
The most actively traded counter was Ezion, which fell S$0.009 to S$0.161 with 60.5 million shares changing hands. Other actives included ThaiBev, up S$0.06 at S$0.86 apiece with 51.96 million shares traded, and Jiutian Chemical, up by S$0.002 to S$0.06 with 24.62 million shares changing hands.
Active index stocks included DBS Bank at S$29.97, up by S$0.34 or 1.15 per cent, and OCBC Bank at S$13.75, up by S$0.05 or 0.37 per cent.
