Singapore stocks: STI resumes Monday afternoon at 3,230.26, up 0.4%
SINGAPORE stocks resumed trading 0.4 per cent higher on Monday after the lunch break, with the Straits Times Index rising 12.58 points to 3,230.26 as at 1.02pm.
Losers outnumbered gainers 165 to 133, as 587 million shares worth S$410.8 million in total changed hands.
The most actively traded counter was Nico Steel with 41.27 million shares traded, flat at 0.3 Singapore cent. Other actives included China Real Estate with 20 million units traded, flat at 0.2 Singapore cent and Wheelock Properties with 13.35 million shares changing hands, down 3.23 per cent to S$2.10.
Active index stocks included DBS, down 0.69 per cent or 18 Singapore cents to S$25.85, and OCBC Bank, up 1.51 per cent or 17 Singapore cents to S$11.46.
