Singapore stocks: STI resumes Monday afternoon at 3,263.75, up 0.21%
SINGAPORE stocks retained their positive morning momentum as trading resumed on Monday afternoon, with the Straits Times Index moving up 0.21 per cent or 6.7 points on the day to 3,263.75 as at 1pm.
Gainers outnumbered losers 185 to 122, or about three securities up for every two down, after 552.0 million securities worth S$385.0 million changed hands.
Among the most heavily traded by volume, Ezion Holdings advanced 2.7 per cent or S$0.002 to S$0.076 with 72.9 million shares traded. Rex International Holding rose 1.9 per cent or S$0.002 to S$0.11 with 34.4 million shares traded.
Active index stocks included DBS Group Holdings, down 0.2 per cent or S$0.04 to S$26.05; and Sembcorp Marine, up 2.0 per cent or S$0.04 to S$2.08.
