SINGAPORE stocks resumed Monday afternoon trading in negative territory, with the Straits Times Index falling 12.67 points, or 0.4 per cent to 3,056.5 as at 1.11pm.
Losers outnumbered gainers 185 to 129, after about 1.1 billion shares worth S$490.3 million changed hands.
The most actively traded counter was Nico Steel, which fell 12.5 per cent, or 0.1 Singapore cent to 0.7 Singapore cent, with 91.7 million shares traded.
Other active stocks included OCBC which fell 1.1 per cent to S$10.63; and Singtel which lost 1.3 per cent to S$3.14.
