Singapore stocks: STI resumes Thursday afternoon at 3,126.16, up 0.04% on day

SINGAPORE stocks rose marginally on Thursday afternoon's trading resumption, with the Straits Times Index gaining 0.04 per cent or 1.51 points to 3,126.16 as at 1.02pm.

Gainers and losers were evenly matched, with 150 securities up to 149 down after 1.06 billion shares worth S$494 million changed hands.

Among the most heavily traded by volume, Rex International Holding traded flat at S$0.099 after 63.3 million shares were traded. Falcon Energy Group advanced 12.2 per cent or S$0.005 to S$0.046 with 44.1 million shares traded.

Active index stocks included DBS Group Holdings, up 0.7 per cent or S$0.17 to S$24.51; and Singtel, up 0.3 per cent or one Singapore cent to S$3.11.
