SINGAPORE stocks resumed afternoon trading in negative territory on Tuesday, with the Straits Times Index falling 8.55 points, or 0.3 per cent to 3,037.42 as at 1.04pm.
Gainers outnumbered losers 152 to 142, after about 862.2 million shares worth S$440.4 million changed hands.
The most actively traded counter was Allied Technology, which rose 5.3 per cent, or 0.1 Singapore cent to two Singapore cents apiece, with 56.8 million shares traded.
Other active index stocks included DBS which fell almost 1 per cent to S$24.24, and OCBC which lost 0.6 per cent to S$10.60.
