Singapore stocks: STI resumes Wednesday afternoon at 3,145.21, down 0.68% on day
SINGAPORE stocks fell on Wednesday afternoon's trading resumption, with the Straits Times Index declining 21.39 points or 0.68 per cent on the day to 3,145.21 as at 1.01pm.
Losers outnumbered gainers 215 to 106, about two to one, as 963.7 million securities worth S$551 million changed hands.
The most actively traded counter was Nam Cheong Limited, which was flat at one Singapore cent with about 42.2 million shares changing hands.
Other actives included Thomson Medical Group, down 0.2 Singapore cent or 2.2 per cent to S$0.088 with 32.5 million shares traded; and Addvalue Technologies, which gained 0.2 Singapore cent or 7.1 per cent to S$0.03 after 24.5 million shares were traded.
Active index stocks by value included OCBC, down 0.8 per cent or S$0.09 to S$10.96; and DBS Group Holdings, down 1.2 per cent or S$0.30 to S$24.96.
