SINGAPORE stocks resumed trading on Wednesday afternoon in negative territory, with the Straits Times Index falling slightly by 22.57 points, down 0.6 per cent on the day to 3,561.99 as at 1.02pm.
Losers outnumbered gainers 257 to 104.
About 959.1 million shares worth S$648.8 million in total changed hands, which worked out to an average unit price of S$0.68 per share.
The most actively traded counter was Ezion, which fell S$0.015 to S$0.143 with 99.3 million shares changing hands. Other actives included AusGroup at S$0.053, up 1.92 per cent with 38.27 million shares traded and ThaiBev at S$0.85, down 2.86 per cent with 21.64 million shares changing hands.
