Stocks to watch: Ezra, Huationg, Croesus, commodity stocks
THE following stocks could see movements on Tuesday due to individual announcements:
Ezra Holdings disclosed on Monday evening that DNB Bank ASA, Norway's biggest bank, has bought a 7.04 per cent stake in it for S$24.84 million. The company requested for a trading halt at 8.07am.
Catalist-listed civil engineering firm Huationg Global said on Tuesday morning that it has secured new civil engineering contracts worth S$81.3 million through wholly-owned subsidiary Huationg Contractor.
Croesus Retail Asset Management, the trustee manager of Croesus Retail Trust, said late on Monday night that it will buy Torius Property, a suburban retail mall in Fukuoka, Japan, comprising 36 buildings, for about eight billion yen (S$95.2 million). It will fund the acquisition with a mix of debt and equity.
Global markets were roiled on Monday with commodity giant Glencore falling 29 per cent in London. Asian index futures signal more declines for Asian stocks on Tuesday.
